How do I apply or qualify for financing?

Does every student have access to financing?
No. Financing is available to qualified domestic students only.
Am I a domestic student?
You are considered a domestic student if you are a Canadian citizen, a Canadian permanent resident or if you are a candidate currently living in Canada and you have a valid study permit or a valid work permit or a valid working holiday visa
Am I an international student?
You are considered an international student if you are NOT a Canadian citizen, if you are applying outside of Canada or if you are currently in Canada with a visitor’s visa.
What English level must I have to qualify for admission?
All applicants, international and domestic must complete a language assessment test in order to determine eligibility for the program. Applicants must obtain a minimum 75% on this test. In lieu of this test, you may submit test scores from the following:

This is the acronym for American Hotel & Lodging Association, the world leader in hospitality education and training. We are proud to have partnered with AH&LA in order to provide you with a world-class curriculum and the latest in hospitality management theory and practice.
What Certificate will I get after completing the Lions Gate Career College program?
There are a total of 21 certificates and 2 diploma's in the 2 year program. Upon completion of all 16 AH&LA EI courses, Serving it Right, First Aid, the Food Safe program, and your work components, you will qualify for among other certificates:

I’ve submitted my visa application to the Canadian Consulate. Can I contact them about the status?
We recommend you review the Processing Times for your local Canadian Consulate prior to checking on the application of your file. If your start date is approaching and you are concerned, we will send an inquiry on your behalf.
